The Lehigh Valley Fall Guide

The Lehigh Valley Loop's complete guide to fall 2026. Every date below was verified on the official source in late August; things change, so double-check before you load up the car.

Fall in the Valley is short and it is the best thing we do. Between Labor Day and Thanksgiving there are more festivals, mazes, and orchards within 30 minutes of your house than most cities get all year. Here is all of it, in one place.

The Great Allentown Fair $ | Sept 2 to 7, Allentown Fairgrounds
The 174th edition. Rides, livestock barns, grandstand concerts, and deep-fried everything through Labor Day Monday.

Vynecrest Harvest Weekend & Grape Stomp $ | Sept 12 to 13, 12 to 4pm, Breinigsville
The Valley's classic grape stomp, plus vineyard tastings and cellar tours. Tickets are limited, so don't sit on it. 21+ for the tastings.

Bethlehem Vintage & Harvest Market $ | Sat Sept 19, 10am to 4pm, Historic Burnside, Bethlehem
The festival you knew as Apple Days, expanded into a vintage and harvest market. The apple dumplings survived the rebrand. $3 in advance, $4 day-of, kids 14 and under free.

Celtic Classic FREE | Sept 25 to 27, downtown Bethlehem
Billed as the largest free Celtic festival in North America. Highland games, pipe bands, and the haggis-eating contest.

Oktoberfest at SteelStacks FREE | Oct 2 to 4 and Oct 9 to 11, SteelStacks, Bethlehem
Two weekends of biergartens and live music under the blast furnaces. Go for the dachshund races, stay for everything else. Free to attend; 21+ to drink.

Easton Garlic Fest FREE | Oct 3 to 4, Centre Square, Easton
Eat, drink, stink. Garlicky everything, chef demos, rain or shine.

Harvest Fest FREE | Sat Oct 10, 12 to 5pm, Main and Broad Streets, Bethlehem
Free fall street festival downtown. The optional $40 Tasting Passport adds food and craft beer tastings for the 21+ crowd.

ChiliFest | Sat Oct 17, 3rd and 4th Streets, south Bethlehem
The SouthSide chili cook-off turns 30 this year. Details were still being announced when we checked.

PA Bacon Fest | Nov 7 to 8, 10am to 5pm, downtown Easton
Easton's massive bacon-everything weekend. Free to walk in, with a $5 suggested donation at the gate. Rain or shine.

Christkindlmarkt $ | opens Fri Nov 13, weekends through Dec 20, SteelStacks, Bethlehem
One of the country's biggest Christmas markets opens two weekends before Thanksgiving. Artisans, glassblowing, and St. Nick.

Christmas City Village FREE | opens Fri Nov 20, Sun Inn Courtyard, downtown Bethlehem
The free German-style hut market on Main Street, open Friday to Sunday through Dec 20. The downtown companion to Christkindlmarkt.

Grim's Orchard & Family Farms $ | Sept 5 to Nov 1, weekends 10am to 7pm plus holiday Mondays, Breinigsville
The west valley heavyweight: 8-acre corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkins and 25+ apple varieties, hayrides, cider slushies. Packages from $11.99.

Seiple Farms $ | Sept 26 to Nov 1, weekends 10am to 6pm plus select Fridays, Bath
The big one: a 20-acre corn maze, a 35-acre pumpkin patch you reach by free hayride, and Friday-night flashlight maze runs in October. Maze $10.

Unangst Tree Farms $ | weekends 10am to 6pm through Oct 31, plus weekday afternoons, Bath
Big maze with prize drawings ($9), a $4 kids' maze open every day, free hayrides to the pumpkin patch, and apple cider donuts made on site.

Olde Stone Farm $ | Fri + Sat evenings, Sept 25 to Oct 31, 5 to 9pm, Easton
The nighttime option: flashlight corn maze, jack-o-lantern straw maze, and moonlight hayrides. $10 covers everything.

Bear Rock Junction $ | fall weekends, New Tripoli
Miniature train rides through the corn ($4.50), a $7 maze, and glow-in-the-dark mini golf on October nights. Call ahead to confirm this year's dates.

Raub's Farm Market $ | typically mid-Sept through Oct 31, open daily, Easton
7-acre maze, flashlight nights on weekends, corn pit, and farm animals. This year's dates weren't posted when we checked, so call before you go.

Valley Fruits & Veggies | fall weekends, Bath
Corn maze, after-dark glow maze events, and pick-your-own pumpkins at their new 45-acre site. Fall dates were still to be announced when we checked.

Juniperdale Farms FREE | October weekends, 12 to 4pm, Nazareth
Free hayrides out to the pumpkin patch, where you pick right off the vine. A corn-pit play yard and farm animals for the little ones.

The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival $ | Sept 26 to Oct 25, Country Junction, Lehighton
Worth the short drive north: a 3D pumpkin fun house, themed hayrides, and a new trail maze at the World's Largest General Store.

County Line Orchard | September through the first freeze, Kempton
Old-school pick-your-own orchard and farm market. Wednesday and Thursday mornings, Friday through Sunday for fuller hours. One heads-up for the faithful: no pick-your-own Honeycrisp this year.

The Apple Picking Train $ | Oct 3 to 4, Kempton
The WK&S railroad runs a vintage train from Kempton station to County Line Orchard for picking. $12 adults, $6 kids, no reservations, departures on the hour from 1 to 4pm.

Bechdolt Orchards FREE | Tue to Sun 9am to 5pm, Hellertown
Family farm stand since 1947: apples, fresh cider, fruit butters, and jams.

Pappy's Orchard & Bakery FREE | Mon to Sat 8am to 5pm, Coopersburg
Cider pressed on-site from their own apples, plus a PA Dutch bakery. Get the shoofly pie.

Scholl Orchards FREE | Bethlehem farm stand, Center Street
Tree-ripened apples picked daily from orchards first planted in 1948. Call ahead for fall hours.

Halloween Haunt at Dorney Park $ | select nights Sept 18 to Oct 31, Allentown
Seven mazes this year (including the new Blair Witch: No Signal), five scare zones, four shows. Park admission covers the scare zones; mazes need a Haunted Attractions Pass from $10.

Screamin' Green Hauntoween $ | Sept 19 to Nov 1, Crayola Experience, Easton
The not-scary option: Halloween crafts, a scavenger hunt, and character meet-and-greets, all included with regular admission.

Boo at the Zoo $ | Oct 17-18, 24-25, 31 and Nov 1, 10am to 4pm, Lehigh Valley Zoo, Schnecksville
Costumed trick-or-treating through the zoo, included with admission, across the last three weekends of October.

Mystery & History Walking Tour $ | Fri + Sat evenings in Sept, Fri to Sun in Oct, 5pm, Bethlehem
A lantern-lit walk through the Colonial Industrial Quarter with tales of unsolved mysteries. $20 adults, sells out, book early.

Sun Inn Ghost & Spirit Tours $ | Sundays, Oct 4 to Nov 1, Bethlehem
Attic-to-cellar tour of the 1758 Moravian inn, capped with a Christmas City Spirits tasting. $30, 21+ for the tasting.

Emmaus Halloween Parade FREE | Sat Oct 17, 7pm (rain date Sun Oct 18), Walnut Street, Emmaus
Marching since 1919, per the borough's own records. A west valley institution.

Allentown Hallo-weekend FREE | Oct 30 to Nov 1, downtown Allentown
Three days: citywide trick-or-treat Friday evening, the Halloween Walking Parade on Hamilton Street Saturday, and Dia de los Muertos at Arts Park Sunday.

IronPigs final homestand $ | Sept 8 to 13, Coca-Cola Park, Allentown
Six last games against Worcester, then the tarp goes on until spring.

Brew at the Zoo + Fall Wine Festival $ | Sept 12 and Sept 26, Lehigh Valley Zoo, Schnecksville
Two separate one-day sampling festivals among the animals: beer on the 12th, wine on the 26th. Ticketed, 21+ with ID to sample.

Renningers Antiques Extravaganza | Sept 25 to 26, Kutztown
Hundreds of antiques vendors at the big fall weekend, with smaller craft and vendor shows Oct 10 and Nov 7.

Easton Fourth Fridays FREE | Sept 25 and Oct 23, 5 to 9pm, downtown Easton
The after-hours street party formerly known as Easton Out Loud: live music, open galleries, kids' activities.

State Theatre's 100th season $ | all fall, Easton
The centennial season stacks its biggest fall in years: Ringo Starr Sept 24, Martina McBride Sept 26, Itzhak Perlman Oct 1, Lewis Black Oct 9.

Zoellner Arts Center openers $ | all fall, Lehigh University, Bethlehem
Graham Nash Sept 24, David Sedaris Oct 2, Cirque Alfonse Oct 3, VOCES8 Nov 1.

Bethlehem Running Festival $ | Oct 16 to 18, SteelStacks, Bethlehem
The successor to the Runner's World Half: Friday trail and kids runs, Saturday 5K and 10K, Sunday half marathon through historic Bethlehem.

D&L RaceFest $ | Sunday Nov 15, Allentown to Easton
The race that carries on the old Via Marathon runs the D&L corridor: marathon, relay, and half. Registration and volunteer signups are open.

Lehigh vs. Lafayette, round 162 $ | Sat Nov 21, Fisher Stadium, Easton
College football's most-played rivalry, at Lafayette this year, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Autumn Hawk Migration $ | all season, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Kempton
Around 18,000 raptors pass the lookouts each fall. Peak broad-wing flights come in September, best variety late October, and the magic formula is one or two days after a cold front with northwest winds. $10 adults.

Jim Thorpe Fall Foliage Festival FREE | Oct 3-4, 10-11, 17-18, downtown Jim Thorpe
Worth the 45-minute drive: three weekends of vendors and live music, with scenic foliage trains running from the depot. Get there early, parking fills fast.

Lehigh Valley Open Gate Farm Tours FREE | historically early-to-mid October afternoons, farms countywide
Working farms open their gates for one afternoon weekend per county, a four-decade tradition. This year's dates weren't posted when we checked; confirm with Penn State Extension.

Looking just past Thanksgiving: Easton Winter Village opens Friday Nov 27 on Centre Square, and the SouthSide Bethlehem tree lighting is Saturday Nov 28.
